What is the Mayan Bible website?

The main goal of this web journal is to be a central place for people of all ages to come and learn about the amazing world of the Mayans.  Also, this is where I will share links to the research available in books, magazines and on the web.  Research that helps illustrate how much we know and how little we know when it comes to understanding the Mayan people, their history, their religions, their artwork, their architecture and the heart and soul of the Mayan people.

The reason it is called Mayan Bible, is because anyone who tries to understand the Mayans, has to realize that these people had their own religious beliefs, their own Mayan Bibles, their own Mayan writings, forms of writing, their own culture of literacy and illiteracy. The Mayan Calendar, yes, the infamous MAYAN CALENDAR is only a piece of the overall MAYAN BIBLE.

I hope you will stay a while and read through the content I put together. I hope to learn more and help others learn more about the Mayan people, the books believed to be Mayan Bibles, The Book of Mormon, the Popol Vuh, the Mayan Calendar, the history, present and future of the faith of ancient Americans.  2012 is not the end, it's only the beginning.  2012 will be here soon and you can learn the facts here on this blog, the Mayan Bible.  Science and Faith go hand in hand, and this blog, the Mayan Bible, an encyclopedia of sorts will explain why.
